Caregiver Charged With Beating Elderly Patient

The Baltimore police issued a warrant for Anastacia Olouch, a 53 year old home health care worker, after failing to appear in court on charges of beating a resident of the nursing home she worked at.

Olouch was charged with abusing and assaulting a John Taylor, a 90 year old man, after Jaki Taylor, daughter of John Taylor, caught the attacks with a surveillance camera.    

Jaki Taylor installed the surveillance camera after her father obtained unexplained bruises while residing at the nursing home. The video shows Olouch slapping and beating John Taylor in the face, chest, and legs after he had soiled himself.

After the alleged abuse and assault, John Taylor suffered a stroke or seizure and is currently on life support.
